South (saut) - Güney
East (ist) - Doğu
West (vest) - Batı

İngilizcede cümlelerde yönler -in- edatı ile birlikte kullanılırlar.

in the South - Güneyde
in the East - Doğuda
in the West - Batıda

Kars is in the east. - Kars doğudadır.
